This original wall-hanging tapestry, titled The Rose, was inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved book The Little Prince. The author read the book to her children, and it was the relationship between the Little Prince and the Rose that became the central idea behind this work. In the story, the Rose symbolizes love, relationships, care, and responsibility. Her uniqueness lies not only in her beauty, but above all in the time and care that the Little Prince devoted to her.

Through this work, the author reminds us that the value we place on people, animals, and even things is often created by the time, attention, and care we choose to give them. The artwork was created as a visual reminder of one of the deepest messages of The Little Prince: “You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.” The Rose is therefore not merely a symbol of beauty, but above all a reminder that the true value of a relationship is created by what we ourselves put into it.
