Thank you for your continued support and for taking part in Artslimit&rsquo;s September online auction. The total achieved during live bidding reached CZK 20,841,200. We owe this result to you.
The most expensive work in the auction was Still Life with Apples and Oranges by V&aacute;clav &Scaron;p&aacute;la, which rose from a starting price of CZK 450,000 to CZK 1,137,500. The second-highest price was achieved by Landscape by Josef &Scaron;&iacute;ma (CZK 1,025,000), followed by a watercolour depicting Mnichovice by Josef Lada (CZK 750,000). Another highlight was River Landscape by V&aacute;clav Radimsk&yacute;, which sold for CZK 625,000.
Sculptures by Josef V&aacute;clav Myslbek also attracted considerable interest. St Wenceslas rose from a starting price of CZK 25,000 to CZK 525,000, while Sculptural Group of St Wenceslas sold for CZK 506,250. Blessing Soul by Olbram Zoubek was also among the most expensive lots, achieving CZK 568,750.
We are grateful for your support of the charity lots. A collection of works by nine contemporary artists inspired by an expedition to the Congo raised CZK 1,622,000 in support of the educational activities of Save-Elephants. Half of the hammer price of the final lot, Swarm of Happiness by V&aacute;clav Kiml, will be donated through Fred&rsquo;s Team to support cancer research.
The selection of fine art was complemented by handbags from leading fashion houses. A Lady Dior Large in metallic gold-bronze snakeskin sold for CZK 185,000, while a red Lady Dior achieved CZK 135,000.
Purchased lots can be collected from Galerie KODL starting Tuesday, 29 September, by prior appointment on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Card payments are also accepted on site.

Both drawings were presented at the artist&rsquo;s first solo exhibition in 1926 (SVU M&aacute;nes Exhibition Hall, Prague), as evidenced by the stamps on the reverse. Assessed during consultations by PhDr. P. Pečinkov&aacute;, CSc.
