Audi U Front is a car from pre-war Germany. The model was introduced in 1933 in Germany and represents a unique prototype – a so-called “concept car.” The only one in the world. Audi was one of the four brands that, in 1932, formed the Auto Union concern. That is why the car bears the Auto Union inscription in its emblem, yet for the first time also features the four Audi rings. This prototype was the first representative of the UW FRONT model. The chassis was built at the Horch factory and the bodywork in the Gläser workshops. The automobile is equipped with above-standard features that were absolutely unique in 1933. The then serially produced models UW 220 and UW 225 did not come anywhere close to such equipment or engine. The restoration of the vehicle took seven years and covered every part of the car inside and out, including the powertrain. Most of the parts remained original. The veteran car is fully operational. Its owner, who is also its restorer, put his entire soul into the process. The rarity of this Audi lies in its uniqueness, the historically significant period of its creation, and its first-class condition.
