The work was reproduced in the art journal Volné směry, Issue No. 1, 1904, p. 186; it is listed in the artist’s inventory compiled by the painter’s daughter, Božena Nováková Uprková, under card No. 30/03, and in the recent catalogue raisonné (J. Kačer: Joža Uprka 1861–1940, Hodonín 2023, reproduction on p. 266).
