The triptych The Three That Remain was first exhibited in Paris as part of the Close Up exhibition. The three female figures symbolize Faith, Hope, and Love, referencing the biblical verse: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.” With their serene expressions and introspective gestures, the figures radiate inner strength and emotional depth. Aziya was born in Kazakhstan into a family of artists and filmmakers. She studied fine arts at Empire State College in New York and communication at La Salle University in Philadelphia. Having lived in the USA, Asia, and Europe, she is now based in Prague. In her painting practice, she challenges traditional gender narratives and promotes cultural dialogue. Her work draws on her Central Asian roots and is shaped by a global life experience. She portrays women who embody calm and quiet strength, often set against minimalist, abstract backgrounds that highlight their emotional depth.
