Pasta Oner is a leading figure of the contemporary Czech art scene and a highly regarded artist among collectors, with growing international recognition. His work draws on pop art and cartoon aesthetics, which he increasingly combines with references to iconic works of the old masters. Familiar motifs are recontextualized, used as tools for reflection and irony on today’s society. His practice spans acrylic and oil painting, sculpture, objects, and large-scale murals.
Pasta Oner has taken part in over fifty group exhibitions and has held numerous solo shows both in the Czech Republic and abroad. His works have also appeared at the prestigious Sotheby’s auction house.
