Dear bidders, thank you for your support! The total starting price of this auction has doubled to the final 20.4 million crowns. Among the most expensive items are works by<a href="https://www.artslimit.com/en/item/4077-no-title-eva-kmentova"> Eva Kmentov&aacute;,</a> <a href="https://www.artslimit.com/en/item/4083-landscape-josef-sima">Josef &Scaron;&iacute;ma</a>, <a href="https://www.artslimit.com/en/item/4179-young-woman-with-a-turtle-dove-alfons-mucha">Alfons Mucha</a> and <a href="https://www.artslimit.com/en/item/4157-hygie-ii-olbram-zoubek">Olbram Zoubek</a>.
The highest percentage increase (1,025%) and a great competition between bidders was recorded by Josef &Scaron;&iacute;ma's "Landscape", a work created using a combined technique (pastel, tempera, pencil) on paper. A significant shift was achieved by Josef Liesler's oil on canvas "In the ruins on the edge of the desert", which rose from a bid of CZK 70,000 to CZK 381,250.
Auctioneers also showed interest in fashion accessories and interesting collectibles, e.g. the world-famous Birkin 35 handbag by Herm&egrave;s went from a starting price of 100,000 crowns to 232,500 crowns, and the Rolex Datejust Wimbledon watch was a similar success, with a starting price of 150,000 crowns and a price of 315,500 crowns. We owe these successes to you.
The sale of items will take place in the KODL Gallery from Tuesday 26 March, always by appointment on weekdays from 10 am to 6 pm. The gallery will be completely closed on Friday 29th April and Easter Monday 1st April. You can also pay by card on site.

This drawing by Jiří Trnka was donated to Eduard Hofman (animator, director, initiator of the founding of the studio Bratři v triku) on the occasion of the artist's exhibition at the Hořejš Gallery (6-22 December). On this occasion, František Hrubín wrote a poem under the drawing used as the exhibition opening speech.
