Jorinde Voigt's drawings can be found in important galleries and private collections around the world, and curators of contemporary art often compare them to musical scores, scientific diagrams, or mind maps. She applies her unique visual method in the deconstruction of literary works, philosophical texts and, as in the presented artwork, also opera. She currently lives and works in Berlin and acts as a professor of conceptual drawing and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany.
